We're hiring - Fully Qualified Carpenter.
Wheeler Builders Gippsland is looking for a fully qualified carpenter to join our team in a full‑time position.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well and enjoys working within a supportive and well‑structured environment.
We strive for absolute customer satisfaction and hold ourselves and our work to the highest of standards. Your qualifications matter - but we're really looking for someone who can read the brief, work confidently on their own two feet and bring good energy to the site.
This role requires you to be on-site at various project locations, with work based primarily in the Maffra and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities
You'll be involved in a range of residential construction projects, including renovations, extensions and custom builds. The role includes:
Delivering high‑quality carpentry and building work
Working independently and within a team
Following established systems and maintaining a tidy and safe worksite
Communicating clearly with clients, trades and team members
Problem‑solving on site and contributing to smooth project delivery
What we're looking for
Trade qualification as a carpenter
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Honesty
Pride in appearance when representing the company on-site
Must have own basic carpentry tools
Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised
Good communication and teamwork skills
White Card and driver's licence are essential
Someone who values professional growth and wants to build a long‑term role within a stable business
